Challenged to break the conventions of a traditional design and architecture studio anniversary publication, 11.12 developed a human-centric narrative which told the stories of people’s interactions with and within spaces. Commissioning British artist Richard Wentworth, the publication showcased MoreySmith’s expertise and design approach, through abstract and highly emotive visual forms. Adding depth to the imagery, we also commissioned a series of interviews with writer Lisa Freedman which got to the heart of each building’s design approach and completed environments. The result was a celebration of an individual’s relationship with the space around them, alongside MoreySmith’s passion and influence in creating these spaces.
